Position Title: Dozer Operator

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Dozer Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating heavy equipment to support grading, excavation, and site preparation on construction projects. The ideal candidate has experience working on active job sites, understands safety protocols, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform rough and finish grading according to site plans and specifications
• Clear and prep land for construction, including moving dirt, debris, and materials
• Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and elevations
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Identify and report mechanical issues or needed repairs
• Work closely with site supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites

Qualifications

• Minimum [X] years of experience operating a dozer (construction or site work preferred)
• Strong understanding of grading and site development
• Ability to read and interpret plans and grade stakes
• Knowledge of equipment safety and OSHA regulations
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred but not required)
• Strong work ethic and reliability

Preferred Skills

• GPS machine control experience (Topcon, Trimble, etc.)
• Experience with additional equipment (excavator, skid steer, loader)
• Ability to perform minor equipment maintenance
